Too much time has pasted

Wow! It's been a very long time since I  have written on my Blog! 

Where do I even begin?

Ella is now almost 10 months old!! 10 MONTHS!! Where has the time gone? She is into everything these days and everything goes straight into her mouth!! She has been crawling for about two months now and so wanted to walk! I think she's going to be a climber like her cousin Cadence!! Just 1o minutes ago, I caught her climbing the side of her walker! She likes to "walk" behind the walker; her legs don't quite touch the ground when she's in the walker!! So when she's in it, she pretty much only goes backwards! 

She will pretty much eat anything that I give her to eat. She LOVES bananas, frozen peaches (fresh ones are too slimy; she makes faces), blue berries in yogurt, Greek yogurt. She will eat scrambled eggs with us as well. She loves hot dogs; hamburger is okay!

Besides crawling and getting into everything she loves to look at herself in the mirror. When she was going to Day Care her teachers said she learned to recognize herself earlier than any one in the class.

The Cuteness

Last night while Ella was swinging in her swing; she kept spitting out her pacey and then putting it back in her mouth. All by herself!!

Well she spit it out one last time and it fell almost to her stomach. Dan bet her she couldn't get it back in her mouth!!

Sure enough, she got it in her mouth and Daddy paid up!!

Never bet against The Cuteness!!

Super Bowl Sunday

We cleaned out the DVR. Took a nap. Dan went to the grocery store. We recorded the game so we could fast forward to the commercials!

Funny thing is that most of the commercials are YouTube!!

The Help

Dan and I just finished watching THE HELP. That movie/book should be required viewing/reading by every person!!

Sick Baby :(

My sweet little girl is not feeling well this morning! I feel so bad for her. But the funny thing is that she doesn't act like she doesn't feel well. She is still smiling and cooing. But she is sleeping so much, and she is spitting up like a geyser and several times!

She changed clothes this morning three times!! I thought at first she just didn't want to wear the outfits that I was putting her in! But when I changed the third outfit, it hit me that she might be sick!

I hope you get to feeling better soon, Baby Girl; Mommy and Daddy love you very much!!

40! Oh, Lordy!!

Two Months!!

She has a Strawberry birthmark on her right check. Dr. Olivo says that it is pretty common and should be gone before she turns one!

Ella has discovered her hands and uses them as a replacement for a pacie! It's so funny to watch her search for her thumb; she sucks all around but rarely finds it. But when she does!! The look is priceless!

Since introducing her to her pacie her eating patterns have changed.

Sleep Over

Ella and I had a sleep over at Nanny & Pops' house on Saturday.

I met Mom & Dad in Fairview along with Sarah, Brian and the girls. We had lunch and I then hung out with Keri for a bit. Then Bug and I headed to Sherman to help mom paint her house!!

Well Saturday was pretty much a bust in the painting department!! But we did get the shutters sorted and placed in their corresponding rooms!!

Ann and Wally came over for pizza and to finally meet Ella!! Wally and Ella were both a little unsure of each other!! Ann on the other hand thought she was beautiful! Of corse I agreed!!

This morning Ella and Mom read the paper together while mom enjoyed her coffee. Then they took a short nap!!

They also hung out while I worked on the Master Bath (FINALLY- got some painting done).

All and all it was. Great weekend, but Daddy sure did miss his girls!!

Tummy Time!!

I don't know if it's that he actually likes her or he is just trying to get some attention from Mommy, but every time Ella does Tummy Time he has to jump into the Boppy after her!!

Each day that she practices the higher up she can hold her head and the longer she can hold it up!!

I can't believe that almost two months ago, Danny & I brought into this work this wonderful gift!! She has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. We thought we were complete with each other. It's amazing how wrong we were until she came along!!

Ella - I tell you this every day of your life and I will tell you for every day of the rest of mine!
